On March 28, 2023, Superintendent, Dr. David Lewis, presented a "Superintendent's Proposed Budget" for FY 2023-2024  to the Wayne County Board of Education at a Special Called Meeting. The proposed $223 million budget is now available for inspection. On April 14, 2022, Superintendent, Dr. David Lewis, presented a "Superintendent's Proposed Budget" for FY 2022-2023  to the Wayne County Board of Education at a Special Called Meeting. The proposed $237 million budget is now available for inspection. On March 30, 2021, Interim Superintendent, Dr. David Lewis, presented a "Superintendent's Proposed Budget" for FY 2021-2022 Budget to the Wayne County Board of Education at a budget work session. The proposed $192,649,262 budget was made available for public inspection and comment. The Board of Education approved the proposed budget on May 3 at its regularly scheduled monthly meeting.

 

  

On October 5, 2020, Interim Superintendent James Merrill presented the FY 2020-2021 Budget to the Wayne County Board of Education at its monthly meeting. Following the presentation, the Board adopted the $187,532,386 budget.
