RWM’s Beta Club headed up a fundraiser for Wayne Pregnancy Center and Cry Freedom Ministries in early December. Each of our homerooms competed by bringing in money to fill up baby bottles for two weeks. Our school raised a over $900 with Mrs. Uzzell’s 7th grade homeroom coming in first raising almost $300. As a reward, Mrs. Uzzell’s class got to visit the downtown Cry Freedom Ministries store and coffee shop in January where they got to enjoy ice cream and learn all about the mission of Cry Freedom and WPC. A huge thank you to Mrs. Beverly Weeks and her team for your hospitality. Thank you also goes out to Mrs. Jamie Smith, our Beta Club Advisor for getting our students involved in the community.
